Initially, the task was to develop a small catalog and at the same time do everything so that in the future it would be possible to radically scale it without reworking.
It was decided to do everything on wordpress, due to the simplicity and ready-made solution as a premium template, which was later half redesigned into what is now there is.
It was also important for us to be able to connect online payment for finished products or accessories to them in the future. This problem was solved by the fact that right at the initial stage, the WooCommerce plugin and all the connecting elements were installed for convenient filling of the product catalog and in the future scaling.
Due to the template itself, which offered the basic development of the entire frontend using the Elementor plugin with additional adons, we decided to accept this and, with the exception of a little customization of the blocks for Elementor. Customization affected only a small part, in particular, display styles and slightly removed the output of unnecessary content.
Since the site is very voluminous, with a large number of animations, initially it could not boast of a fast loading speed, so it was decided to fix it right away. By setting up a couple of caching plugins, minifying all the code, asynchronous downloads and a modern image format, the site began to load many times faster than before.
